When I get lazy with blogging, I just post links to some neat stuff around the web:
- As a nation, Canada has contributed the most per-capita to Haiti at $3.9USD per person. I guess these are individual contributions and not government aid nor services.
- A series of blogs from a book about how China has revolutionized the Pearl industry in the way that Chinese people know how. No I don’t mean counterfeit pearls (at least not exactly) but with rock bottom prices. You know they can grow 50 pearls within a single mussel?
- This story about the possibility that Everest was climbed 30 years earlier than previously thought is intriguing. It’s like a mystery novel where you can’t flip to the end. But at least you can flesh out the story at your leisure on wikipedia.
- This is a lovely idea. Not practical, but lovely nonetheless.
