ok, i’m still bitching about black people…i was downtown yesterday and unfortunately (i didn’t know about it, if i did i wouldn’t have went!) there was a pre-caribana street party. this involved a lot of black people driving along yonge street in their big fancy suvs trying to pick up or standing around checking out people who walked by. except it was really lame and fake since most of the people with the fancy cars _rented_ them (and had the little rental company sticker on the back too!).
i finally started working on my work report for this work term. i didn’t actually find an interesting topic to talk about so it’s not an easy task to actually sit down and string coherent paragraphs together. to make matters worse, I unconsciously started using the same writing style that i use on my blog; that is whenever i don’t actually explain a point, i’ll just write it in passing and stick a footnote on a word (as i would normally do to a link).
and! i also created a little script for sunshine.orangefever.net where people can upload files and stuff…the same idea as filepile except more limited…tho it doesn’t really work that well yet cuz you can’t tell which files are new and which aren’t (i haven’t figured out how to sort by file date yet!)
