This year, I get to mark work reports; the dreaded bullshit work that you have to do after each work term. I get to mark 100, 200 and 300 level work reports, although I’ve only marked 200 level ones so far. They’ve made a couple of changes this term which is why I get to mark that big of a variety. First 400 level work reports are now marked by lab instructors and the 100-300 level ones are marked by students who have gone through ECE in their undergrad (i.e. wrote 4 of those blasted things). The profs and lecturers are off the hook now. I guess we’re supposed to know the ins and outs of the process if not the technical knowledge. Oh and the best thing is that we get paid $24 per report.

Anyways, it’s coming along. The reports are actually a lot shorter when you’re reading them since they’re double spaced and most people have 3 or 4 pages of useless background material. Oh and I gave 2 resubmits already, I don’t know if I’m a hard marker or if I’m just getting a bad selection?
