A couple of years ago, I saw a music video on tv that was pretty cool. It was the vid for Stacey’s Mom by Fountains of Wayne except that it was redone using The Sims by MTV2. It was neat to see but I soon forgot about it. Then I happened on a link yesterday of the top 10 hip-hop video done in The Sims. I don’t know most of the videos, but I enjoyed Umbrella, Gold Digger and Irreplaceable. I think Gold Digger is the best because the dancing is pretty wack. That led to spending a lot of time on YouTube finding other music videos done with the Sims. The best one that I found was done for Kelly Clarkson’s Because Of You and it’s so good that I think it’s a better fit than the original video:
