I don’t recall in my memory an instance where I watched Back to the Future from start to finish. I’m pretty sure I never saw it in theatres (it came out in 1985) so I would have only watched it on TV. On the flight back from HK, I watched Back to the Future on my OnDemand flight entertainment system.
It’s truly a classic. I don’t view the sets as dated, but more a vintage look at the 80s (and how the 80s saw the 50s). The script itself is great, being written in a ST:TNG style where the little side mentions resolve themselves by the end of the movie. The best part is that the time travel continuity makes sense! It is certainly a four starer in my book.
