We’ve decided where we are going this year in Asia and we’ve booked our flights and hotels. In addition to Hong Kong, we’ll be visiting Taipei and Seoul; spending a couple of days in each but the majority of the time in HK.
We have most of the packing done, and we’re doing the crazy backpacking thing again. Except, we’re not using “real” backpacking backpacks, but the every day ones. It’ll be hot so we’re just bringing short sleeves/shorts which means things more or less fit – although all the accessories such as chargers and adapters add to the weight.
There’s not a lot of extra room to go around, so we won’t get to pick up a lot of souvenirs in Taiwan and Korea, but when we get to HK we’ll end up with a lot of shopping and luggage.
