Being a geek and all, I thought about subscribing to Wired. I usually buy a magazine before a flight if I don’t have a book to read, and usually I get Wired. It is a good magazine that has all sorts of geeky things that I’m interested about, but it also has a lot of stuff that I don’t really care about.

So then I realized, that the magazine model sucks. You get some articles you enjoy, but some articles you just skip. I think the alternative to that is internet linking. Now as long as you have people writing about and linking to the Wired articles, you simply need to frequent sites related to your interests and you will find out articles that interest you, be it on Wired or from another magazine.
