I finally, finally cleared All Cup mode on 150cc in Mario Kart Double Dash. This was a major road block for me in my quest to finish this game because I couldn’t access mirror mode and unlock the last few things without passing this.

So I was able to complete it due to some practice and some luck. At one point I was ahead of my competitor by 17 points, but my lead dwindled down to 11 with 3 races remaining; not enough breathing room in the event that I had a disasterous race. Fortunately for me, Wario decided to screw up on a hairpin turn on Yoshi’s Island, reverse himself and finished last. That let me finish All Cup with a respectable 21 point lead even after goofing around on Rainbow Road and finishing 7th.

Now the huge challenge for me is to finish All Cup mode on Mirror Mode. Yikes.
