The new Franz Ferdinand album, You Could Have It So Much Better With Franz Ferdinand will probably be one of the longest titled albums that I will have in my CD collection, but since it’s not out yet I will have to settle with it being one of the longest titled leaked albums on the net that I have.

Their sophomore album weighs in at 13 tracks but only 40ish minutes. There are a lot of songs under 3 minutes which further solidifies the fact that Franz are the Beatles of the last several years. YCHITSMBWFF is genuine FF, they haven’t changed their distinctive sound or accent since their debut, because why would you bother messing around with that success. While they added some new quirks like the piano in Eleanor Put Your Boots On, it looks like they are headed for another hit when the album is released in October.

I’m not very excited however about their first single, Do You Want To. While it still sounds like Franz it’s not very exciting or catchy. I even tried the listen-to-it-awhile test and i’m still not digging it.
