Hrmm what should I say about the tragedy in NOLA?

• Bush could have spent money that he diverted to Iraq to upgrade the levees that broke, but it was the fact that the levees existed that contributed to the flooding.
• Bush spent the day after the disaster playing the guitar for the 60^th anniversary of VJ day.
• Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice was on vacation today, shopping in New York while Canadian DART planes were grounded waiting for her permission to enter the States.
• The National Guard and Reserves are in short supply to rescue those that are trapped because, well they’re all in Iraq supporting the Army.

Where oh where have all the Bush supporters on the net gone?

And before you think that this is an anti-Bush post. What about the true nature of humankind:

• Why are people shooting at police and firemen who are trying to help them?
• The streets are run by gangs and thugs, even the police are looting.
• Black, white, hispanic people are looting, but asian people aren’t looting?
• Black people loot while white people find/borrow.
• Rumors that many in NO couldn’t buy gas to evacuate as their government checks arrive on the 1^st by the 29^th (when the hurricane hit) they had used up their money.

Are they really going to attempt to rebuild New New Orleans fully knowing that it is sinking into the delta?
