i’m thinking of making sections of my site “login-only”; that is you have to make an account on orangefever before you can see those sections. so i’m thinking that if you don’t “sign in” then you can only see the front blog page and the individual blog pages. once you’ve signed in then you can access blogs sorted by tags, the blog archive, and photos.

why am i thinking about doing this? well sometimes i’m not sure whether orangefever should be a private or a public site; that is, is it here for anyone on the internet to find and read or is it just for people i know? of course if it’s on the web then it can’t really be private; so the only way i can limit access to the content is through some sort of login system.

anyways, i haven’t decided one way or another (although if i do i’m sure i’ll have time to work on it since exams are coming up) but don’t be surprised if you need to login in the future.
