since the start of the new season in fall, i’ve been watching the new battlestar galactica series via BT. it is an incredibly great show, much better than the other shit i’m watching (enterprise, smallville, jlu) and up there with faves like babylon 5, justice league of america and buffy.
without even mentioning the fact that there’s a war happening and a ton of sci-fi that will make a geek wet their pants, there are a lot of interesting issues that permeate throughout the series such as:
- alcoholism in the second-in-command
- father-son relationship
- how the president deals with terminal cancer
it’s a really really well written series but unfortunately for all of you it’s currently only playing on sky in the uk.
