the globe and mail has an article on blogging (wow blogging’s hit toronto), but what’s new about it is that it doesn’t focus on the “you can write whatever you want” or journalistic side of blogging, but rather who reads it. they suggest that each blog has a small audience consisting of people the author knows in real life, which is true because if you’re reading this you most likely know me! they go on to say that usually the writer talks about stuff they want the same people to read, however because i ramble on and on about miscellaneous garbage that no one is interested in, i don’t think is true in my case. but i think one good thing about blogging to people you know is that you don’t have to spend time catching up later cuz they know what’s happened to you by reading your blog!
