i’m listening to the new chicane album easy to assemble right now and it’s somewhat different from his previous ones. most of the tracks have vocals and the “crunching-subwoofer” sound that first attracted me to chicane is not as common. still, it’s not that bad because you can still tell that the tracks are by chicane, it still has his style if not instrumentation. this is one album that i’ll buy new when it comes out in september, but because of mp3s i’m able to listen to it now. mo’ power to the consumer! don’t listen to riaa propaganda, illegal mp3 trading will not die.
