pauline’s blog about her trip to the ctv studios reminds me of when i toured the cbc studios. everything was a mess, they had props thrown around everywhere. it’s surprising that they can figure out where everything is stored. on the other hand, it’s also quite neat, their 10th floor (if i remember correctly) is where a bunch of their studios are and it has a concrete floor (and a train track to move stuff around). i think i remember them telling a story how they had to bring an elephant up to that floor to film something (this hour has 22 minutes?). i think what nelson blogged about the asian = new jews piece is a great example of how our generation is/will be different than our parents’. we’re starting to question our “cultural destiny” which in turn may trickle down to future generations where asians will be as well rounded as everyone else.
