i rewatched zoolander & ocean’s 11 over the weekend. zoolander must be the best mtv. movie. ever. i find usually that mtv skits/movies seem like they’re trying very hard to make you laugh (ie this year’s matrix reloaded opening for the movie awards), so much so that it’s not funny at all. but in zoolander they can get away with stupidity all in the name of satire. i also only have good things to say about ocean’s 11 (well there’s a reason why i have these movies just lying around), i think i’m a sucker for these crime flicks; out of sight, snatch, lock stock, i enjoyed all of them. but newayz i noticed the kickass soundtrack this time around, they actually had something that sounded quite similar to the junkie xl remix of elvis’ a little less conversation in it — 1 year before it made it big in the nike world cup commercials. i actually thought it was the same remix, but i just checked now on amazon and apparently it was the original, hrmm it sounded very electronica-ish when i was watching..
