i’m skeptical that this ancient indian civilization that may have created ufos ever existed. apparently they were the peaceful counterparts to atlantis (~20000 BC) and frequently made trips around the world, even some to the moon. of course they’ve since disappeared much like atlantis has. i find it hard to believe that an advanced civilization (where we might be in say 300 years) would limit themselves to a small part of the world and then sudden disappear, let alone having made numerous scientific discoveries without the equipment that we have now. is western civilization really that dumb? it’s fun to wonder what the world would have been if these civilizations had indeed existed and spent another 20000 years evolving (that’s 10x the length of western civilization!). we might be living in a star wars-type universe by now. it’s also fun to look back and see what people thought the future would be like, for example people in the victorian era accurately predicted televisions, but also thought that we would walk around on water with balloons on our back. even more recent predictions done in 1950 about 2000 were sometimes widly inaccurate. by their guesses, we should be able to build houses as easily as we assemble computers now. all that means is that we can’t really predict what will happen in the future. for example, i think that if terminators ever travel through time, and happen to be magnetized against a particle accelerator, their ram/rom should be wiped and they shouldn’t be able to function anymore. but that’s probably just my engineering skepticism turning off my willingful suspension of disbelief.
