one of the things that i’ve always wondered about while studying shakespeare was whether or not he truly intended to include all the elements we found in his writing. i don’t know how he could’ve kept all the different themes in his head and use all those literary devices at the same time. i have a hard enough time trying to write iambic pentameter, but then again he was a genius. so when people begin to think too deeply about the matrix and see all sorts of parallels with our past and present, i get the feeling that they’re looking too hard and end up seeing what they want to see. obviously, this guy didn’t read this list of problems with the matrix otherwise he wouldn’t have bothered to see it, let alone write an essay on it.
