oh man, this event that i wrote about made it into the toronto star?? i have to start reading another better paper.

newayz, onto less depressing news. this deal by roxio to acquire the bankrupt napster sounds like a good idea; roxio can then sell a package where people can download illegal music and then burn them onto cds. it’s what they call synergy, or as my econ prof would put it: how to ruin two companies. but that’s ok, napster’s already ruined and roxio makes bloated software already.

i’ve seen some cool lego stuff, but this really smokes the weed. some people with a lot of time made lego versions of a few famous escher drawings (scroll down to see them). they then go into detailed explanations (w/ pictures!) about how they modelled their real-life physical structures to mirror the images in the drawings. it’s really cool.

and finally, i went to the krispy kreme grand opening in kitchner and i wrote a little something up, read about my visit here.
