Strangely, this is my fifth blog about shoes; and at this rate it will be one of the more popular tags in a few months! Unfortunately, the blogs are usually complaining or hysterical in nature – this one is an update on an already ridiculous situation.
Over the course of a week, I received my shipment of 4 shoes. They came in 3 separate UPS deliveries over 3 different days. I would have been perfectly willing to wait an extra 2 days and received them all in one shipment, but we already covered that before.
On the weekend, I ended up going to their retail location and returned 3 of the 4 pairs! The first pair I received were off-colour; on one the trim was white, and on the other it was beige. I also returned a second pair because they were too large (I don’t think this was anyone’s fault but more a problem with online shopping in general). Pauline also returned her boots because the zippers on them didn’t work! I kept the last pair, although if I had seen it in stores I probably wouldn’t have bought them (even at that low a price) because they just aren’t great enough to line up and pay for.
For those keeping score at home, I received ~$50 back, so the shoe company here earned a whopping $14 off of me for their efforts.
