i got boxing fever from ebay the other day, it’s one of those cheap games you find on the bargin racks at walmart or whatever and although i had heard good things about it, it wasn’t a sure fire nintendo hit like say super mario or something. newayz i took a chance on it and it turned out pretty good! it’s not your typical type of game (sidescroller, fighter, fps, sports, rpg) so that was fresh and it’s pretty fun. i like it cuz you can just pick it up, play for awhile, and then drop it for two weeks. it’s not like there’s a long term goal (like say finishing the game) or anything aside for maybe being better at it. i think that’s a better way for games to be structured cuz otherwise you’d play it like crazy for awhile until you pass everything then just leave it cuz it’ll take too much of an effort to play all the way through and finish it again unless you’re really bored.

after i mentioned i liked that new nelly song, i think i heard it 3 times in a short while which led me to believe that they’re gonna overplay that song really soon so that sucks. i wish (now at least!) they’d play that elvis song more…i like the nice electronica beats and the vocals fit well too…the video’s pretty cool too; i’ve seen it a couple times on much (but it seems like this is actually a nike spot not the actual video). it reminds me of the nike spot with those people doing the basketball tricks.
