One thing that I didn’t mention at all when I blogged about the computer I want to get is the ability to play games. Sure, I will probably want to play Warcraft (both TFT and WoW) on my new machine, but playing games on my PC is not as mandatory as it once was.

I remember, maybe 5 years ago, when the PC was king. Sure there were consoles around, but a N64 or even a PlayStation wasn’t as flexible as a PC. You could play FPS, strategy, RPGs, multiplayer games. The PC was king. But strange thing happened, and now the console is, I think, back with a vengeance. With the addition of online gaming in this generation of consoles, I would much rather play on a console in front of a TV, than at my desk in front of a computer.
