After seeing this neat skating rink in College Park (who knew there was one there!), I kind of want to go skating again. I don’t think I made it out anywhere last winter so I and my skates are most likely a bit rusty. Which means, I probably shouldn’t bring my camera around while skating.
Looking at the City of Toronto’s skating rinks, it looks as though rinks are plentiful downtown and on the west side, but not in the north or east. Why’s that? Are people to ghetto to go skating in Scarborough (oh noes, drive by skatings) or did they just not plan for skating rinks in the newer developed neighborhoods?
