The DC universe is celebrating it’s 70thth anniversary since they amalgamated into one universe, which means it’s time for a catastrophic event. Over the last year, there has been a long buildup starting from Identity Crisis and culmulating in the Countdown to Infinite Crisis. Finally, Infinite Crisis has started and we’ll see what sort of heroes will kill in this saga.
The Infinite Crisis builds upon events that happened 20 years ago in Crisis on Infinite Earths (which coincidently was the incident that brought the DC universe together) so if you’re going to read the new series, be sure to read up on your Crisis on Infinite Earths history.
