so everyone* is making a hot fuss because it’s chinese new year today, but i’m like, whatever? maybe it’s because i’m too whitewashed or a scrooge but it just feels like any other day to me. can someone explain to me why chinese new year (or any new years’ day) is so damn special because i obviously am missing out here?
