One wireless project was from team W.I.L.D. (Wireless Intelligent Location Discovery) as their Where’s Waldo invention took front and centre of the DC main hall. Their technology, explained by team member Bvavesh Mistry [sic], would “enable any user to simply open their laptop and have a real-time system compute information based upon a specified location defined by where you’re standing.” Such technology could forecast upcoming movies when you’re near a movie theatre, recognize if specific books are available if near a library and other seemingly endless functionality. Mistry and other group members, being heavily driven by marketing and advertising, brainstormed this technology as a way to get information across quickly and efficiently.
