you may have noticed that altho i’ve been working on the recently advertised project for the last month or two, i haven’t blogged much about my experience (which we will now refer to as dq, as the letters are close and it beats me talking about it in third person all the time). now, if i did blog about dq i would have wrote like a hundred blogs just because it was such a new experience for me and was pretty cool.
now, i didn’t want to blog about it was because i wanted to keep my blog separate from me personally; you may have noticed that i hardly ever put up my full name or stuff like that. call me paranoid, but that’s just what i do (altho if you look hard enough, it’s actually pretty easy to find out who i am). besides, all of you who read this regularly know me, it’s just the random people who pass by surfing around the net who don’t.
anyways, i had toyed with the thought of linking this site from dq. it’s kind of sad but the dq blog has 100 times more eyes reading it than orangefever, and that number’s only going to get bigger. but no, i think i’ll leave all of you privy to my rants rather than grabbing a larger audience.
anyways, i don’t think i’ll ever blog about dq again, but I brought it up today because of one thing that i thought was pretty amazing. i’ve heard advice that when you run off and start your own business, your first customer will be the people you worked with before. why? because you understand their pain and how to relieve their pain. well when you think about it, i’ve gone thru a lot of d the last several years, so now i can go about and use dq to help people thru the same thing. just like they said, that’s amazing!
