if i were to rate ocean’s 11 i think i would give it a 4 out of 5. it wasn’t one of those artsy movies that you have to think about to understand, it was one long story about a heist in vegas which was fun. in fact i want to see it again since i had just been in vegas and could probably recognize the scenary.

anyways, i approached ocean’s 12 with some skepticism. first, i’m not hot on sequals as the general rule is that they are not as good as the original. secondly, ocean’s 11 was a remake so it had decent material to be based on; ocean’s 12 was written from scratch and prone to the mistakes that current day hollywood is know for. i wanted to like it, but i was expecting to be let down.

so after watching it last night my conclusion is that yes it wasn’t as good as the original remake, but it was still fun and entertaining. the plot is very convoluted, confusing and out of order but there are a lot of funny snarks and there were interesting situations so it’s not as bad as it could of been. i wouldn’t pay the going rate for movies for it (what is it now $14.50??) but i would watch it for half price.
