wow, the west is really messed up this year, the perennial favorites (detroit, colorado, dallas, st louis) are all out and my dark horse (vancouver) is gone too. i thought that at least one of the five would make it to the conference finals, and if there was a cinderella team it would’ve came from the east. but what do you know, the east played out like i thought it would last round for once. in the conference finals, i think new jersey will prevail over ottawa.
between the wild and the ducks, i think that the wild will take the series. they’re a team that grinds and plays their system well, they’ve proven that they are patient and will wait for an opportunity, so i think they’ll eventually solve gigeure. although i hope that the games don’t all go into the 5th overtime!
knowing my luck (i went 4-4 in the first round, 2-2 in the second), i’ll be right on one of my predictions, hrmm i’d have to say that the wild have a better chance than new jersey, but now i screwed things up cuz i just made another prediction.
