i saw a book the other day that explained how to write cover letters that would knock your socks off. so i thought cool, might be useful and took a look. it started off well, the first 20 pages described the various parts of a cover letter, what to do and what not to do. the next 20 talked about different types of cover letters and different ways to send them. ok, not as important but still good. then i flipped thru the remainder of the book, about 200 pages worth, and they were all examples! i see the use in learning by example but in this case it was more like pad the book so people will think it’s worth the price.
