no design change this month!! wait no, i mean happy april fools day!! i’m pretty happy with this design tho. really, i am. but i still haven’t made my design liquid yet, so maybe i’ll modify this one to do that.

i added a sideblog to the…uh…side because i find that when i write something that i feel is more important than my normal posts, i’m hesitant to blog anything else above it because it’ll bury the first post. with the sidebar, i can keep a post near the top by linking directly to it. it’s funny tho, where a blog is almost like snapshots into a person’s life, my sideblog’s going to be snapshots of a blog, or my blog of my blog.

i’m also going to use it to write about stuff that has a longer lifetime, like stuff i’m working on, etc. it’s not really an original idea, i’ve seen it on other blogs before. i seem to be following the same evolutionary path as other more mature bloggers, adding elements to blogs that others have already added. it’s easy too because i don’t have to think of the idea, i can just copy other peoples good ideas. the one thing where i draw the line is a comments system on every post, i don’t really see the use of it, or maybe it’s because i don’t have enough traffic.
