wow, take a look at the top 20 songs from 1994. i’d say that i like (notice: present tense) about 75% of those songs contrast that to today where some of the top40 songs are decent, but i don’t know if they will have the same lasting appeal to me ten years from now. i can’t really explain the big change in preference. i can easily blame it on the fact that i don’t like the hip-hopish style of music now, but maybe it has more to do with the time the music came out; that is the 90s were influential years to impressionable teens. (actually on closer inspection, it looks like one guy’s opinion. tho he’s not too biased and the top songs should be somewhere near the top newayz even if the order were different).

i dunno if the brains at lego caved in to mass media or what but turning basketball players into legomen is one of the worse ways to go about doing cross promotions. for one thing, players can be short or tall, fat or skinny; whereas all the lego men are the same freaking size. the only way to differentiate between them is by the jersey they’re wearing and maybe their goofy painted-on expressions. i think my idea would serve them much better.
