as it’s a new year, there are bound to be plenty of people predicting what will happen. but i find it interesting to look at some of the predictions for 2002. it’s often very difficult to predict stuff that will happen in 5 or 10 years, but you would think that predicting stuff that will happen within a year would be easy. yet looking at some of the predictions, they were widly off the mark. and those that were accurate seemed to be by luck or on “safe-bets”. on the other hand, you could take that into account and do predictions using reverse-psychology. kinda like saying: i predict that i won’t win the lottery this year.

finally ended up seeing one hour photo as it had been sitting on my drive for awhile. i think it lived up to its hype. i hadn’t seen any “thinking” movies in awhile, moreso cuz i didn’t want to think…but i enjoyed this one. it also might have to do with the fact that i’ve seen too many movies with a lot of talking recently.
