i think if i were a child of the nineties, i’d be horrified to find out that michael jackson was once black. you’d have to have some serious delusions to convince yourself to bleach your skin (like say so The Man can’t oppress you). i must say tho, that he did a fine job. it’s not like he’s light black, he could easily pass himself off as being white. but why in the world did he do all that plastic surgery??. anyways, his case seems a lot like bobby fischer’s. in this long article i read (tho it is really interesting – it’s like a biography), they figured that he was prolly suffering from mental illness, yet no one was really sure and he wouldn’t voluntarily submit himself for testing. actually come to think of it. both bobby fischer and michael jackson followed similar career path. they were both wildly successful; but as they’ve aged, they seem more to attract attention due to their eccentricities.
