hrmm, ran into the u of t engineering frosh today at the eaton centre. they’re too weird, purple skin, defaced hard hats and all…glad my frosh wasn’t that weird. it was cool though, to see tons and tons of people flow thru the eaton centre shouting at bewildered tourists/shoppers. the sheer amount of engineers is just staggering when you consider there are a couple of schools in ontario that accept that many students each year into their program. if even only 50% of the people graduate, there’s going to be a lot of people looking for jobs at the same time in the same field.
