I haven’t really been playing games on my phone lately so this edition, while not very sparse, doesn’t actually contain a lot of games that I’ve spent time with:

  • Airplane Mania 2: Wild Trips – This is the sequel of what sounds like a popular game. I downloaded because it was free from Amazon, but I should really try it before rating it.
  • Age of Zombies – Free from Amazon store. It’s a tops-down game with dual control sticks where you kill zombies until you’re killed. There are a lot of games like this now, but I liked this one due to ease of play and production values.
  • Doodle Fit – Another freebie from Amazon, you fit a couple of Tetris-like shapes into a larger shape. It gets quite tough. I don’t play it as much as I could because it appears to drain my battery quickly (and is not addictive enough to offset that effect).
  • Everlands – Guess what, another freebie from Amazon! I heard about this game for awhile because it’s supposed to be a German-style game with cute/kiddy graphics. But it’s less of a board game and more of a puzzle game so I don’t have that much interest in it.
  • Guitar Hero 5 – Can you guess where I got this game for free? It IS like Guitar Hero/Rock Band, but it’s not nearly as fun. You have to download songs separately too (although in my version they seem to be free).
  • Lane Splitter – Very simple game where you ride a motor bike down a road avoiding cars, trucks and other vehicles as they change lanes.
  • NemoNemo Picross – This is like Nintendo’s Picross and is free (but ad supported). If you like Picross and don’t have a Nintendo handheld to carry around, then this should appease you for awhile.
  • Sporcle – Should this be considered a game? It’s a bunch of trivia questions that’s crowdsourced from the web. I was really bored one time while travelling and fired this up – even then it wasn’t fun.
