I tried a some new games, and missed a couple, so here’s a second edition of my list of Android games:
- aGibblets – You shoot (“save”) people who about to get hung with arrows. Simple but strangely addictive. It came from a flash game.
- CrossMaster – A puzzle game where you have to cross squares off to clear the board. It’s a logic puzzle like Sudoku.
- Curvy – Another logic puzzle, where you have to wrote hexagon shapes so that that the overall picture makes sense.
- Game Dev Story – Apparently a popular iOS game, which I finally tried on Android. It’s a game tycoon game with isometric pixel art which was fun enough for me to buy (for about $2.50).
- Pumpkins vs Monsters – A PvZ clone, at least in the name. There’s a lot of bad english but the gameplay doesn’t seem too bad; at least until I actually got PvZ and played that instead.
- Casino Crime – A mob/casino tycoon game, which was fun until I started playing Game Dev Story, which was more fun so I stopped playing this.
- Paper War for 2 players – A 2 player, multitouch game that quickly devolves into screen mashing.
