November is over and a great question is what did I do this month? That is a great question, because I felt November broke down into 3 sections. In the first part of the month, we continued to work on house stuff – we went down to the US for a shopping run, picked up a GDO and later got it installed. The builders finally came and paved the road (in the process kicking everyone out from parking in the streets and garage), and then paving our entry way.
Next, I took a two-week break where I developed 3 android apps and watched random people search and download them. I’m still surprised that I have 100s of people downloading niche apps for VIVA or gas. My most successful one is probably my Twitter Followers app which got picked up as a Fresh Android app on November 23.
After I got over my appdev craze, life resumed and the builder did some more work. They finally paved our driveway and did our backyard. I shopped around for some new tires for the car (it’s like a luddite shopping for computers – there’s so much choice and not much differentiation if you don’t know the industry), We planned our winter vacation, and with all those things out of the way, we started Christmas shopping.
In world news, I think the only thing of significance was that North and South Korea are trading munitions again. Oh, that and the Leafs lost something like 10 in a row. I guess it’s time to jump off the bandwagon again.
