The hockey season starts today, right now in fact as I’m watching the Montreal Canadians play the Leafs. I’m excited this year, partly because the team has been completely remade from two years ago (the only person left is Kaberle), partly because the Leafs can’t do much worse than last year, but mostly because I have been following the Leafs blogs recently.
I know all of the players this year (including first goal scorer Tim Brent – well I learned who was during preseason) and I’ve read a lot of commentary about how this player is good at that, but that player is better at this. I’ve read about how this might be the breakout season for a variety of Leafs, and on and on and on. Well suffice to say I’ve read so much that I’m caught up in the excitement from real hardcore Leafs fans. Go Leafs!
