A few weeks ago, we were at the grocery store and bought some plants and herbs to grow. Turns out that people usually start working on their gardens on/after the May 2-4 weekend, and we even got frost that week we bought our plants! Well the frost part was not too bad because we don’t have a “ground” to grow our plants on; they’re just sitting in pots on our balcony. But along with the frost came high winds so our plants blew around and are now like the residents of New Orleans who never left.
We had more luck elsewhere. We bought a 5lb bag of onions a couple of months ago and I think it took us a good 3 months to get down to the bottom of the bag. At the bottom of the bag, we found a surprise!
Turns out we are good gardeners and we didn’t even know it.
