Today and tomorrow, I don’t have to go to work, and I don’t have to use up vacation time! No, I don’t have more floater or reward days, but I’m actually on training. It’s off-site so it’s pretty cool as I can take the subway (it’s at Yonge/St Clair). Sadly, I have to wake up at about the same time since I have to be there at 9AM.
I went in this morning and was surprised because I was the only person in the class. So the instructor and I sat at a desk and went over the material together, which is dumb in a way but also good because the course is basically tailored to me; I can ask whatever questions I want. It’s also not as boring, because it’s more engaging. The difference between this and normal training is like grad courses versus undergrad. As a bonus, we cover the material a lot quicker than alloted so I have shorter days. Yay.
