Dear MBNA,

I just received your post in the mail, I guess my last letter didn’t make it through to you, although I can’t say I wrote the address on them perfect. Maybe you had already sent your letter by the time I wrote mine, seeing as how not even 3 weeks have passed. When I saw your letter, my eye caught sight of the big, bold CONFIDENTIAL word on the front and I was intrigued by the smaller, but no less noteworthy CONTENTS IMPORTANT – DO NOT DESTROY label. Of course I tore the envelope open quickly (but carefully as to not destroy the contents), and I got quite perplexed. Inside were cheques, were these the same cheques that I ripped up for several weeks straight? Maybe you concluded that because I haven’t been using them that I lost them again and again. Repeatedly. Why thank you for your consideration.

I also went seeking for the CONFIDENTIAL information that was advertised on the front of the envelope for would be thieves to see. I believe this confidential material is the fact that my credit limit has been increased? I could swear that this had happened a few correspondences back as well? Or maybe I have a bad memory? Or maybe I am experiencing déjà vu? What do you think? Please write back. I expect to see your letter in my mailbox in 3 weeks. You have a schedule to keep!

Adamantly,

Kevin
