Remember how all you can ever remember about Waterloo is frustration? Well, welcome to what I’m feeling now. It’s funny really that it seems like the level of frustration peaks when you’re nearing completion — which isn’t the most pleasant memory to remember when they come asking for money.

Anyways, why am I so frustrated? because I’m trying to submit my thesis. Normally this would be a joyous process since it means I can graduate at any time, but there are so many questions about what I actually have to do. All I know is that there is a deadline — next Tuesday the 23rd. What I don’t know is what exactly “submitting my thesis” constitutes.

To be fair, the resources online that discuss this is at the university level, so they can’t describe policies that apply to a faculty. And the admin staff is relatively good at replying to questions when I have them. But the fact that I can’t read what needs to be done online is retarded. Waterloo is trying to grow the number of grad students it has, so that means the admin staff will be overwhelmed by people like me asking the same questions over and over again.

It’s a broken record.
