The facebook has finally arrived at Waterloo. I had heard about it awhile ago and looked jealously (this is a joke) at the fact that you had to be at an American school or the hated University of Toronto to create an account. So I ignored it like the pretentious Waterlooser that I am. I was chatting about it with my roommate Dave a couple of days ago and it turns out that they now accept students from Waterloo. So of course being the geek and early adopter that I am, I signed up.

Truth be told, I don’t understand this obsessive addiction called facebook. Maybe it’s because there are only like 10 people signed up from Waterloo for my whole graduation year, or maybe this whole social networking thing is so 2005 school year and I’ve moved on to the 2006 school year already. I guess if you haven’t joined up yet and you’ve recently graduated (looking at you folks here), you should sign up before your Waterloo email expires. And add me as a friend, so that eventually there will be a critical mass of people on and it can become addictive.
